An important benefit of your use of The Witness is a potential reduction in cost of insurance for your vehicle. 

Because The Witness provides proven protection against theft as well as early detection and recovery of your vehicle if it is stolen, many insurers recognize that vehicles equipped with The Witness are safer and therefore less expensive to insure.  Most insurers pass these savings along to you in the form of discounts on your insurance premium.  These benefits typically range between 5 to 30 percent of the cost of your comprehensive policy.

The Witness gives you other ways to save on your insurance as well.  Be sure to inquire about our deductible reimbursement program*.  This optional service provides you with guaranteed reimbursement for the full amount of your comprehensive deductible -- up to $1,000 -- if your vehicle is stolen and damaged or not recovered.  That’s up to a thousand dollars, right in your pocket!  In addition, with your deductible covered up to $1,000, you may choose to raise your comprehensive deductible limit.  This can produce substantial savings in the cost your insurer charges for this coverage**.
