Personal Safety
The Witness® is
more than just theft protection for your vehicle. It’s a complete
safety and security system for all your driving needs. Whether you’re
behind the wheel or someone you love, The Witness represents peace of
mind, like having a co-pilot in your car.
The Witness is
always watching over your vehicle, ready to detect and report problems,
even before they occur!
Low Battery Warning
Have you ever
tried to start your car, only to find a dead battery? The Witness
constantly monitors the main battery voltage to alert you of potential
problems. When the battery voltage drops below normal levels, The
Witness will send you an alert, in most cases before the battery is
dead, so that you can start the vehicle and safely fix the problem.
Eliminate Lockouts
In the next 60
minutes, 685 people will lock their keys in the car*. More than 6
million service calls are reported every year for vehicle lockouts.
Countless others will call home and wait for a spare set to be driven
out to them. Approximately 90,000 calls will be the result of small
children accidentally locked inside the car!
With The
Witness, you’ll never be locked out again. One quick phone call, and
your doors are automatically unlocked, saving you time and money and
getting you and your family safely back on the road again.
Set Limits
If you have a
younger driver in the family, you will appreciate The Witness’s Drive
Zone and Speed Limit features. These features allow you to set an
acceptable driving radius (the Drive Zone) and/or speed limit for your
vehicle. If the boundary of the Drive Zone is crossed, or if the
vehicle exceeds the speed limit you have set, an alert is immediately
issued by The Witness.
Where Are They Now?
Your spouse is
overdue returning from work; your daughter is on her way back to
college; your son is out late on a weekend – would you like to know
where they are? With The Witness, you can quickly and easily find out
where they are without the distraction and embarrassment of a phone
call.
